REVIEW – Off the Grid by K. Bromberg

Spencer Riggs is fighting for his place, his name, in the elite sport of Formula 1.
His ultimate dream. A future determined by his past. His legacy.
He’s passionate, reckless, and unswerving in his pursuit of all things.
Including me.

Camilla Moretti was determined to never return to one thing: Formula 1.
Shadows had kept her away, but family devotion brought her back. After all, Moretti Motorsports is her legacy.
She’s dynamic, intelligent, and spectacular, and someone I can’t seem to stay away from. Nor want to.
I have an objective. A lifelong goal.
But I might throw it all away for her.

Off the Grid is a steamy, standalone romance set in the Full Throttle world. Tropes include a British hero, close proximity, secret rendezvous, Formula 1, enemies to lovers, and workplace romance.

“Camilla. Look at me.” He waits for my eyes to flutter up to his, and the serious expression in his eyes shocks me. “You. You’re the other thing I want.”

Spencer Riggs was born to race Formula 1. It’s in his blood and it’s all he wants. However, he also knows the dangers of the sport, but it’s his legacy. Camilla Moretti knows Formula 1. She isn’t a stranger to the sport, especially growing up around Moretti Motors.

From the moment Riggs and Camilla meet there is a connection and a spark between them that neither were expecting. Even after they find out their workplace connection, there is still that spark and insane chemistry. The both of them also have something in their past that is haunting them and I love that they were able to open up to each other and for Camilla, that she was able to find someone who was able to earn her trust and love. Seeing her confidence grow throughout the course of this story was amazing and empowering.

I am super excited about this series and I can’t wait to get to know some of the other racers in future books.

If you’re looking for an enemies to lovers, workplace, slow burn, forbidden, sports romance check this one out.
