REVIEW – The Joy of Us by Kennedy Fox

BLURB

What happens when your rental cabin ends up being a scam and you’re forced to stay with a sexy lumberjack? You try to avoid him and his annoying Christmas spirit because the last thing you have time for is love.

The Joy of Us is a reverse grumpy/sunshine, close proximity romance.

I am anti-charming men just as much as I’m anti-all things Christmas. He just happens to be the deadly combination of both.

ARC REVIEW

Levi works on his family Christmas tree farm, he loves all things Christmas. Fallon is a journalist and rather anti Christmas. Thanks to a scam and a blizzard they are forced to spend time together.

I loved the fact that it was Fallon who was the grump, its not something you usually see in books and was just a fun twist. I love how determined Levi was to show her the small town and the holiday season. I loved seeing them both go from complete strangers to forming a connection and eventually something more.

There is chemistry from the start and once they both begin to explore the connection between them things really start heating up.

If you’re looking for a forced proximity, grumpy/sunshine, small town, holiday romance this is one to check out.
