Gabriele and Aria are from two different mafia families. For Gabriele she is completely forbidden and off limits. Yet, he can’t seem to stay away from her and wants to protect her from the dangers of their world.
I love the tension between these two from the start. Their tension and the push and pull of their relationship is also fantastic. Gabriele is super protective of Aria and seeing him finally come to terms with how he really feels for Aria. I love Aria’s growth throughout the course of this book, she grew so much and became so much more confident in everything.
The suspense of this story had me hooked and wanting to know who was behind everything and why they were doing it.
