REVIEW – Tysin by Brooke O’Brien

BLURB

Tysin Briggs is a player.

He’s cocky, selfish, and sexy as sin. I’ve heard the rumors, and it’s no secret, he’s just as talented in the bedroom as he is on the guitar.

As the lead guitarist for A Rebels Havoc, and my brother’s best friend, Tysin has heartbreak written all over him. We were asking for trouble sneaking around behind my brother’s back. It still didn’t stop me from spending the summer with him or from falling in love with him.

Two years have passed since he destroyed my heart, crushing it into a million pieces. A lot has changed since then, including the ring on my finger. When my brother asks for my help filling in as the manager of their sold-out tour, it’s an opportunity I can’t refuse.

I should’ve known the past wouldn’t stay in the past.

But what I didn’t count on was how hard it would be to resist him.

Author’s Note: Tysin is a standalone and can be read without reading any other books in the A Rebels Havoc series. If you prefer to read in order, start with Brix as the stories do interconnect.

*Please be aware, this book does contain subjects that may be sensitive for some readers, including pregnancy loss and cheating. If you’re looking for a safe story, this book is not for you.

This will only destroy me in the end, but fuck it if I care.

ARC REVIEW

Tysin and Kyla have a TON of history and a lot of pain and heartbreak between them. They have spent the last two years avoiding each other as much as the can, however, when they are share a tour bus together things are bound to happen….

The angst, the emotion, the tension I loved it all between Tysin and Kyla. The two of them know how to push the other one and they do so many times. Even with all the animosity towards each other you can still feel their connection and the chemistry that they have together. There are a lot of ups and downs when it comes to Tysin and Kyla.

I love these two characters so much. There are a lot of layers to Tysin. He is loyal to those who are close to him and loyal to him, but he also doesn’t let many people into his life. He has been hurt so much and my heart broke for him. I love Kyla, she is fierce and she can handle herself around the band. Learning more about what happened two years ago when her and Tysin were first together was absolutely heartbreaking.

If you’re looking for a brothers best friend, rockstar, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, second chance romance this is one to check out.
