I loved Brinley and Van’s story! These two needed each other and they didn’t even know it.
Brinley is a young window who has been a shell of who she once was. Van is on leave from his job and forced to find some time for himself outside of it. There is an attraction between them from the moment they meet, but being roommates leads to some complications. Brin and Van were perfect for each other. They are opposites, yet they balance each other out and really are what the other needed in their life at this moment.
I love getting to see more of the OG Bailey’s in this and love them in their roles as parents, aunts, and uncles. Of course, the letters get you right in the heart. I can’t wait to return to Lake Starlight for more Bailey family shenanigans!
