REVIEW – The Blood We Crave Part Two by Monty Jay

BLURB

Will obsession be enough?

I’d always believed my love was enough to save him. To protect him.

I was wrong.

The Copycat killer gets closer every day, and I can’t help but feel his every move is in my direction.

With dead ends around every curve and bodies piling up, it seems our time is running out.

They took him from me. Stole the last bit of light and left him empty.

Now, it’s not only the Hollow Boys who are seeking revenge.

I’m out for blood. A war path for vengeance.

They wanted a villain?

I’ll give them one.

“You fuel more than my ego, knowing how far you’d go for me. You’d give me anything. You and that pretty, dark heart.”

ARC REVIEW

Thatcher and Lyra are a whole mood. These two were giving me life and I couldn’t get enough of their dark hearts.

Their story is dark, it is twisted, it is violent, it is addicting, and the passion and connection between these two is on a whole other level. I loved seeing how far Lyra has come from the very start of this series and even from the start of her story. I loved seeing Thatcher let walls down and seeing him do that was perfection.

Their bond is strong. They both aren’t strangers to uninstalling people and blood. Their hearts are dark, but their souls are meant for each other in every single way.

The mystery, the suspense was great and had me hooked. Questions were answered, the loose ends were wrapped up. But I have a feeling this isn’t the last mystery that will hit Ponderosa Springs. Bring on Silas, because I am ready for his story!

If you’re looking for a  dark, antihero, romantic suspense this is one to read, but check out part one first.
