REVIEW – Scoring Chance by Teagan Hunter

BLURB

Scoring on the ice? Piece of cake.
Scoring off it? Well, there’s a reason I’m still a virgin.

I’m not entirely clueless with women, though I do tend to put my foot in my mouth around them far too often.

Like I did with Scout, the donut maker I stupidly introduced myself to despite visiting her truck for years.

Maybe my teammates have a reason to call me the dumb one, but I’m determined to prove them all wrong—Scout included.

I want to be her friend. Want her to see the real me.

What I’m not expecting is to like her so much when we start spending time together…or want to kiss her so badly.

I’m the jock, and she’s the bookworm.
On paper, we make no sense together.

But maybe I have a scoring chance with her after all.

SCORING CHANCE is a standalone hockey romantic comedy. There’s a virgin hero, a secret crush, wit, steam, and a whole lot of fun!

He’s an NHL player. I’m a donut maker. There’s no way we would ever make any sense together.

ARC REVIEW

I knew Miller would be my favorite! I absolutely adored everything about Miller. He is sweet, caring, helpful, and nothing like you’d expect. Scout, I also adored her. She is just a BA business owner and making some amazing sounded doughnuts, plus an aspiring author.

The texting chapters between Miller and Scout were some of my favorites. They were hilarious and just so random and gives such a fun, playful look into their friendship and relationship.

The chemistry between Miller and Scout is amazing and I loved it. I loved seeing their relationship progress from pretty much nothing but a crush, to friends, to something more. It all felt so natural. Nothing felt rushed when it came to these two and everything just felt so right.

If you’re looing for a slight reverse age gap, rom com, sports romance this is one to check out.
