REVIEW – Room Twenty Three: Take My Breath Away by Alexa Jordan

BLURB

Three powerful men. One Choice. Betray them or my sister dies…

My mission is simple: Get close to Salvatore Genovese, get information about his business, and report back to the man pulling the strings.

The moment I set eyes on him I become his prey and all my plans go out the window. Now they own me, the Genovese brothers and their damn bodyguard

These three have a reputation of bringing grown men to their knees, forcing them to beg for mercy which they’ll never give. They aren’t people any sane person would mess with, yet here I am. My only chance at surviving and saving my sister’s life is to worm my way into their hearts – if they have them to begin with.

To everyone I’m just a pawn on the chessboard.
A sacrifice to the monster’s hunger for power.
But if everything goes according to plan, I’ll become a Queen.

Her innocence calling to us, pulling us in like a moth to the flame, has us all losing control. All I want to do is lock her up in this house and keep her chained to the bed so she can never leave. That’s not normal.

ARC REVIEW

Phew this is a spicy story that will keep you warm on the cold winter nights!

Celia was an innocent college student, until her sister was kidnapped and she was forced to move and do whatever she was told in order to keep her sister safe. While still innocent, she was also more confident. I loved her growth throughout the story.

Salvatore, Antonio, and Matteo were three powerful men. They were also insanely drawn to Celia from the  start, even if they were more curious about why she was asking around about them and trying to get information. I love how instantly protective they were of her and how she really balanced them all out. The dynamic between the three men was interesting and I was kind of hoping that would have been explored a little bit more throughout this story.

Celia and the men had insane chemistry. She had a different connection with each of them and they all just really worked together.

I wasn’t expecting this story to end of a semi cliffhanger, but I’m definitely intrigued to see what is coming next.

If you’re looking for a spicy, mafia, why choose romance this is one to check out.
