REVIEW – Heart Sick by Monica James

BLURB

Piano has always been my one true love.

So when the music stops, I do whatever I can to hear it again.

But when I wake, all I hear is his heart and the memories that come with it.

This is my body.

My mind.

But not my heart.

Each beat hides a secret, and his voice now replaces the music, demanding I uncover the truth.

I’m sent to a place to get better, and that’s when I meet her.

Every artist needs a muse, and Luna allows me to hear the music again. But when her secrets soon become mine, I realize it’s because I’ve lived this life before.

Or rather, he has.

The man whose heart beats within my chest knows Luna…and everything she’s done.

This is what love entails—it’s messy, and it’s about surrendering to the one you choose.

ARC REVIEW

I’m pretty sure I spent a majority of this going WTF and completely consumed by the story at the same time.

Dutch and Luna’s story is an emotional one that is full of twists and turns. It will have you questioning a lot of things as the story progresses. The connection these two characters have is different and unique. Their story is truly one that you need to experience. Immerse yourself in their world and their emotions.

I’m intrigued on how their story will play out and what the truth it. Especially with how this first book ended.

Make sure you check out any warnings before jumping into this story!

If you’re looking for a unique, dark, age gap this is one to read.
