REVIEW – Groundball by Lisa Suzanne

BLURB

Our team is assembled, and the Vegas Heat is ready for our first season.

Life is perfect except for one thing. I can’t tell anybody about the love of my life.

The more time passes, the more people find out. It’s only a matter of time before her father learns the truth, but it has to come from us.

If it doesn’t, our relationship will become like a groundball that’ll eventually roll to a stop…but there won’t be anyone there to pick it up.

I’ve spent half a year loving you, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life doing it.

ARC REVIEW

Cooper and Gabby’s story continues. Their relationship continues to be in secret, well pretty much only to Gabby’s father at this point. But now isn’t the time to tell him. There are a lot of ups and downs these two face throughout this book, but can they survive it all?

Sometimes I love Cooper and Gabby and sometimes I feel so frustrated with them. I just want them to be happy and be out in the open with their relationship, yet I can understand to a point throughout this book why they need to keep hiding. They are hurting themselves so much though. They have a connection that needs to be shared, not hidden.

I like getting to see more of Troy’s relationship with Cooper, Gabby, and even Joanie throughout this story. I wish Troy had a book though cause I bet that man has some stories to tell and Joanie, too.

I NEED BOOK 5 ASAP!!! Seriously, this book. These characters all of them. I just want to knock some sense into everyone. I need to know where things are going, how things will play out. I need it all.

If you’re looking for an age gap, secret relationship, forbidden, workplace, dad’s best friend, sports romance check this one out.
