REVIEW – For the Love of Whiskey by Melissa Foster

BLURB

From New York Times bestselling author Melissa Foster comes The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Redemption Ranch, a small-town, big-family series of standalone romance novels featuring fiercely loyal, insanely sexy bikers who give horses—and people—a second chance. Buckle up for a wild ride in Hope Ridge, Colorado, as these big-hearted badasses and their sassy sisters wrangle in their forever loves. No cliffhangers, no cheating, and always a happily ever after.

He’s a natural-born protector, a Dark Knights biker, and a hell of a rancher. What happens when he falls for a woman who has no idea who she really is?
When Sullivan Tate escaped from a cult, leaving behind the only life she’d ever known, she thought she’d already endured the most difficult things she’d ever have to deal with. She knew she needed to figure out who she was, but she hadn’t expected to fall for overprotective and sexy-as-hell Callahan “Cowboy” Whiskey along the way. How can she give her heart to a man who has always known exactly who he is, when she’s only just begun figuring that out about herself?

“Welcome to the Whiskey world, darlin’, where badass ranchers ride motorcycles and treat ladies right.”

ARC REVIEW

To say this book is one of my most anticipated reads of the year is an understatement. This book was everything I could have asked for and more. From the moment this story was mentioned in a previous book, Then Came Love, I knew I needed to more.

Sully has been through something horrible and her life has been completely changed and was not what she thought. Now, at Redemption Ranch, she has a chance to really live her life and be free for the first time in her memories. I LOVE Sully. I love her strength and seeing her growth throughout her journey. She is hands down one of my favorite heroines. Cowboy….The man is just something else. He is caring, protective, patient, and oh so swoony. I love how hard he loves and how protective he is.

The connection between Sully and Cowboy is on a whole different level. From the moment that they meet they are both drawn to each other, there is something about the other that they see and that makes them feel something. These two are truly perfect for each other on so many levels and I couldn’t get enough of them.

I love the whole crew at Redemption Ranch and I can’t wait to return to it! Hands down one of my favorite books and series!

If you’re looking for an emotional, cowboy, MC, small town romance this is one to check out.
