REVIEW – False Start by Lisa Suzanne

BLURB

Football season is fast approaching, and as a single dad, I need help. Even though I claim I have a little black book filled with names of women who could step up to the task, none of them will do…not when I see the bond that’s forming between Victoria and my daughter.

And not when the attraction between Victoria and I continues to grow despite our constant clashing.

She offers me one night to get it out of our systems. No strings attached, just a way to smooth over the tension between us.

But I can’t agree to one night, and with the pressures of the season and my own fears, I’m starting to hope this isn’t just a false start.

FALSE START is the second book in the VEGAS THE PLAYBOOK series. This series must be read in order.

Why do I have a feeling that the only thing that’s going to get her out of my mind…is her?

ARC REVIEW

Travis is still learning about his new life as a single dad and trying to keep Harper happy. He is also still fighting the insane attraction and chemistry that he has with Victoria.

I love the push and pull between Travis and Victoria throughout this book. The tension is simmering beneath the surface and when it starts to bubble over it is fantastic. I also love the father/daughter bond that Travis and Harper have grow as they spend more time together.

I am excited to see where things go for Travis and Victoria as the series continues.

If you’re looking for a single dad, enemies to lovers, sports romance check this out after reading book 1.
