REVIEW : Coming Home to You by Claire Raye

Beck O’Loughlin never got over his first love. Not even when he left her ten years ago to become the now harden Boston Detective.

But life has come full circle because he finds himself back in his hometown of Rockport, Massachusetts bound and determined to protect her.

Kelsey Walters never imagined she’d get a second chance with the love of her life, but he reappears when she needs him most.

Stalked and tormented by an ex-boyfriend, she just longs to feel safe again and knows Beck is willing to risk his life to give her that.

As their sexual tension steams hotter than a New England summer, they both realize it may not be enough to rekindle what was once lost.

I met my soul mate at age fifteen, the person I was meant to spend the rest of my life with and although it took ten years to realize it, none of that matters now.

MY REVIEW

Claire Raye are new to me authors and I am completely hooked on their stories.

Beck left Rockport Beach ten years ago, leaving behind the girl he loved more than anything and his family. Kelsey Walters was completely heartbroken when Beck left, but ten years later she finds herself with a stalker and her ex lover and the man she is still in love with back in her life.

This book had everything. It is a small town romance, a second chance romance, drama, suspense, and LOADS of steaminess!! I was completely hooked and wanted to know about Beck and Kelsey’s relationship, but also with all the drama from her stalker.

Despite not seeing each other for ten years the chemistry between Beck and Kels never seemed to lose steam. Kelsey was hurt and left broken hearted in the past, so she was afraid to get close to him again, especially knowing that he had a job back in Boston that he would eventually go back to.

I loved Beck and Kelsey, but I also loved their two best friends, Erin and Ryan and I CANNOT WAIT for their story!

This is a MUST READ book and one I’d highly recommend to anyone. Though it is the first in a series, it can be read as a complete standalone.
