REVIEW ➞ Until Delilah by Harlow Layne

BLURB ➞

Something about Delilah draws me in from the first moment we meet. The fact that she’s a single mom, to the sweetest kid ever, is just a bonus.

I’ve got my work cut out for me when it comes to showing her what real love is— first I’ll have to earn her trust and prove I’m not going anywhere.

After seeing her fading bruises and split lip, my protective instincts kick in and I know I would do anything to keep them safe. But she keeps pushing me away, afraid her secrets will put me in danger.

My whole life I’ve grown up hearing about the boom. I wasn’t sure my time would come… Until Delilah.

Until Delilah is part of Aurora Rose Reynolds’s Happily Ever Alpha World. If you loved Until December, then you’ll want to read Until Delilah.

Blood doesn’t make a parent. Love does, and I can say with one hundred percent certainty that it wouldn’t take me long to love your son.

ARC REVIEW ➞

Delilah is on the run towards a better life for her seven-year-old son, Beck.  She finds a small town that she falls in love with and is a good place for her to settle down in. She instantly connects with her son’s teacher, December. She also connects with December’s son, Max. Max is a former professional baseball player, who now coaches little league.

Max. The man is swoony and protective. I absolutely adored the connection and the bond he formed with Beck. He instantly accepted Beck and Delilah. He offered them help when they needed it. He offered them support when they needed it. It is hard not to completely fall in love with him.

Max and Delilah’s love is practically instant. There is so much chemistry between them and with Max’s smooth talking he can instantly reassure Delilah that everything will work out. Their story was emotional at times and I’m happy Delilah and Beck finally have someone in their life to love them both the way they should be loved.

If you’re looking for a single mom, small town, emotional romance this is one to read.
