REVIEW ➞ The End of Us by Kennedy Fox

BLURB ➞

What happens when a stalker threatens your life and you’re flown to a private beach house with your sexy new bodyguard? You break the rules and hope he falls madly in love with you.

The End of Us is an age gap, bodyguard, forced proximity standalone romance.

Piper Montgomery is a temptation I can never give in to—no matter how badly I want to break the rules.

ARC REVIEW ➞

Piper is constantly in the public eye as a social media influencer, but with that comes a stalker. Tristan is hired to be Piper’s bodyguard, he is with her constantly and watching over her. In the time they have spent together Piper and Tristan didn’t talk much, they don’t really know a whole lot about each other. However, when Piper’s life may be in danger they are forced to spend time together in isolation.

I LOVED Tristan! As the story continued and more of his backstory was told it was impossible not to completely love the guy. He is dealing with some very real issues. While he does struggle at times, he doesn’t let it completely rule his life. Piper originally comes across has kind of the spoiled princess, but as the story continues the real Piper comes out and she is actually pretty down to earth and also very helpful and giving.

The TENSION. The CHEMISTRY. The BANTER. I couldn’t get enough of it. You can feel the chemistry sizzling between Piper and Tristan from the start and once they finally give into the connection they have it is like the fourth of July. I love what they bring out in each other and they support they both give to each other.

If you’re looking for a forced proximity, age gap with a little suspense mixed in this is one to read.
