REVIEW ➞ Secret Agents Weakness by AJ Alexander

BLURB ➞

There were two things that used to define my life: being a Marine and being an FBI Agent.

Nothing else mattered but completing my objective.

Until I met her.

Chloe Beckett is the last woman I expected to fall in love with. She’s almost half my age, and her bubbly personality should be a turn-off. But instead, it draws me in closer. She has wormed her way into my soul in a way no one else ever has.

When an old case comes knocking at the door, I know I’ll do anything to protect her.

Even if that means leaving everything else behind.

If I was to look the word “perfection” up in the dictionary, I have no doubt his name would be right next to it. Which is further proof that he is too good for me.

ARC REVIEW ➞

I loved returning back to the small mountain town for Chloe and Griffin’s story.

From the moment Chloe and Griffin met there was a connection between the two of them. Chloe’s insecurities are preventing her from believing that someone like Griffin could actually be interested in her and Griffin just wants to make sure that Chloe is safe and tries to keep his distance from her.

The tension in this book is thick, but I couldn’t get enough of it. You can feel the chemistry brewing between Chloe and Griffin. Griffin’s obsession with Chloe drives him. When they finally give in to their connection the sparks fly and instantly heats up the pages.

From the spice to the suspense this story was such a fun, quick read.

If you’re looking for a small town, age gap, romantic suspense this is one to check out.
