REVIEW ➞ Just One Kiss by AJ Alexander

BLURB➞

If you can’t stand the heat…

Being a firefighter means I should know better than to get too close to heat. But one look at Corrine, and I know I’m in trouble.

She draws me to her like a moth to a flame, and the only thing holding me back is the fact that I’m old enough to be her father. She’s far too innocent to be with a man like me.

Then I see my girl dancing with another guy at the New Year’s Eve party at the firehouse, and I know I need to stake my claim.

Can we start the new year off right, or will the fireworks be over before midnight?

You need to watch your tone before I take you over my knee.

ARC REVIEW ➞

Corrine has had a crush on her best friend’s husbands coworker since the moment she laid eyes on him, yet she doesn’t think that he would want someone like her. Jameson has wanted Corrine since the moment he say her, but feels like she is too innocent for him and she was always the one he could never have. Until one kiss changed everything.

There is no shortage of chemistry between these two. From the first kiss until the final page the connection these two were burning up the pages. Corrine and Jameson are perfect for each other and they balance each other out perfectly, even though it takes some time for them to both realize it.

I loved getting more of some previous characters from other books (Melody and Ryder from Sugarcoated and Whitney and Harrison from Adored by Harrison). It was fun to see where these two couples are now.

If you’re looking for an insta love, age gap this is one to read!
