ARC REVIEW ➞

Intoxication is just that, this story is intoxicating, addicting, captivating, forbidden, and taboo. The moment I started reading I was completely hooked.

Sianna is a young woman and it seems like nothing is just going her way, that is until a mysterious man offers her one night together. What neither of them expect is that one night to change their lives and that one night to stick with them for a long time afterwards. Drake was forced in a marriage he wasn’t happy in, a marriage to a woman that he could never love. But after a few chance encounters with Sianna he rethinks everything, even though she disappears the next day. Flash forward almost 2 years later and Sia is back in Drake’s life, as his sons girlfriend. This is where things start to get complicated and messy.

Sia and Drake have an instant connection, they have passion, they have explosive chemistry. Fate kept bringing them together, however, it seemed like the timing was never right for them. Even though there was a lot of ups and downs with their relationship I couldn’t get enough of it. I did also like Sia’s connection with Rayden, Drake’s son, but you could tell they didn’t have as great of connection or chemistry. There was just something lacking there.

This story isn’t for everyone. There is cheating involved and there is the forbidden aspect with the age gap between Sia and Drake.

Intoxication is full of family drama, passion, chemistry, and heat. This story completely captivated me from the start.
