REVIEW ➞ Destination: Paris by AJ Alexander

BLURB

Being the best pâtissier in Paris doesn’t come easily. I’ve worked day and night in order to make The Sweet Spot into what is today: the best.

But with that comes a reputation for being ruthless in the kitchen. I expect perfection from anyone who enters.

When my publicist suggested I teach an exclusive master class, I jumped at the chance, ready to give them a healthy dose of reality before sending them packing.

Or at least that was the plan…until Charlotte came strolling into my kitchen, thawing my stone-cold heart and exposing my gooey center. I wanted to break her and send her back to the States with her tail between her legs, but instead, she sent my carefully-constructed walls tumbling to the ground.

I know nothing worth having in life ever comes easily…and Charlotte is a challenge I more than want to conquer.

I know she lives an ocean away and our time together is limited, but there’s no denying the pull I feel toward her.

ARC REVIEW

There is a whole lot of sweet and spice packed into this novella.

Charlotte has the opportunity to attend a two week class in Paris with a world famous chef and why not take that chance. What she doesn’t expect is the handsome chef who is supposed to be teaching this class.

The instant they look eyes Bryce and Charlotte are hooked on each other. The passion and the chemistry between them is heating up in the kitchen. I love that during their short time together it wasn’t just physical, but they also got to know each other. Got to know hopes and dreams and desires. Though, there was a little blip that could have caused some issues, but it was quickly resolved.

We’ve gotten to know Charlotte and Rory out of this friend group so far and I am excited to see how things end up for the remaining two friends, Ava and Maya.

If you’re looking for an insta love, age gap romance this is one to check out.
