REVIEW ➞ Desiring the Dancer by Lilly Avalon

BLURB ➞

Carlie Coleman is not looking forward to her stepsister’s bachelorette party.

It was supposed to be a simple affair with a small group of Valerie’s closest friends at their parents’ beach house. Instead, the guests have tripled, there’s a fancy caterer, and at some point there will be strippers.

It’s going to be a disaster… until she meets the cute waiter.

Aiden Carter is sweet and she’s smitten. They can’t stop staring at each other from across the room. Their mutual attraction is undeniable. Before the night is over, she discovers something else.

The cute waiter is also the entertainment.

Don’t be afraid of the craziness that will ensue. It’s all part of the tradition. Embrace it.

ARC REVIEW ➞

Desiring the Dancer is the first book of a new series from Lilly Avalon, who is also a new to me author. This was a very quick read, but it was fun and enjoyable.

Carlie is at her stepsisters bachelorette party when she strikes up a conversation with one of the waiters, however, she gets a major surprise when she also finds out that he is the entertainment. From the moment Carlie and Aiden start talking there is a connection and chemistry between them.

Despite this being a short novella, I didn’t feel like there was anything missing from the story or that I wasn’t able to get to know the characters and feel a connection with them. I loved that this was fun, it was fast paced.  Desiring the Dancer is the perfect combination of sweet and steam. I can’t wait to see what is next for this series and from Lilly.
