REVIEW ➞ Blame it on the Vodka by Fiona Cole

BLURB

What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. Especially when you wake up married to your best friend.

Don’t miss Raelynn and Austin’s friend-to-lovers romance, Blame it on the Vodka, coming April 21st.

Waking up beside my best friend after a crazy night in Vegas is nothing new.

However, waking up wearing nothing but two shiny, matching wedding rings is.

For the girl who promised to never settle down, it’s her worst nightmare.

For me, it’s a dream come true.

I’ve wanted Raelynn Vos since she first propositioned me at a frat party. I, of course, turned her down, knowing I’d need more than a one night stand. Nothing less than forever would do.

She’s fierce and determined, but I’m more determined than she could ever be.

When fate forces us to pretend our marriage is real, I use every second to prove I’m the perfect man to tame her wildness.

In fact, by the end of our charade, I’ll have her begging for it.

I liked the way he held me. I liked the ache in my jaw. I liked it all.

ARC REVIEW

I have been DYING for Rae and Austin’s story and this was EVERYTHING!!

Rae and Austin have been friends for years. They have also had feelings for each other for years, yet Austin wasn’t going to do anything to ruin their friendship and he knew that Rae was something special from the moment they met. However, everything changes when a little too much vodka is had and the end up married in Vegas.

Rae. I have always loved her but even more so after this book. She is strong and I am glad to finally see why she is. I also love that while many think she is an airhead, she isn’t. She is actually smart and brilliant and amazing when it comes to marketing. My heart also broke for her. She suffered for a year in a horrible relationship, she hid it from everyone including her best friends. Austin, oh Austin. This man was a rather filthy surprise and I couldn’t get enough of him. I loved Austin so much. He knew what he wanted and he wasn’t afraid to voice that, especially to Rae. He was just perfection in every way possible.

I LOVE the chemistry between these two. I loved their friendship. I loved that Austin really brought out the best in Rae. He brought back the light in Rae that had been dimmed thanks to a jerk of an ex.

If you’re looking for a best friends to lovers, married in Vegas, fake relationship romance this is one to check out.
