REVIEW ➞ The Glass Slipper by K Webster

BLURB ➞

Betraying the most powerful man in New York wasn’t something I ever envisioned when I first started playing games with Winston Constantine. But he’s engaged in far more dangerous games than ours, and his enemies are out for blood.
Winston has my heart, the Morellis have incriminating photos, and I’m left with nothing except three stepbrothers who want to hurt me and a future in doubt. I knew Winston wouldn’t be my prince charming, but that didn’t stop me from falling for him.
After all, the slippers fit, and I let myself believe I’d be dancing with Winston forever.
Until too much truth comes to light.
Until I realize instead of ruling the board, I was just a pawn.
In the end, I have only one question. When his game with me is over, will I be able to pretend as if the glass slipper wasn’t a perfect fit?

Maybe our story isn’t one of princes and princesses and happily ever afters. Maybe ours is a wickedly hot villain and a filthy maid who are happy for now.

Trust has been broken and secrets are out, but will their twisted relationship be able to survive?

I’ve been dying for the conclusion to Ash and Win’s story and The Glass Slipper does not disappoint. This book sucks you right back into their sick and twisted games and their world.

The passion, the chemistry and the games continue between Ash and Winston. I love their twisted relationship and fell in love with it even more throughout the course of the story. I love that Ash brings out a different side to Winston and it is a side he rarely shows anyone. Despite how everything started between the two of them, they do have a true connection and a love for each other.

The Glass Slipper is the perfect conclusion to Ash and Winston’s twisted fairy tale! I hope that we see more of these characters, especially Perry, in the future.

If you’re looking for a taboo, forbidden, age gap that is modern day Cinderella this book and the entire series is one to check out.
