From start to finish the final book in Carter, June, and Theo’s story is full of twists and turns.
They may be back in Bishops Landing but they still aren’t safe and Carter isn’t handling things well. He wants to be in control and he wants to make sure that both June and Theo stay safe. Yet, they are all struggling with being back in civilization and having to overcome their connection and their chemistry.
I loved seeing how these characters have changed over the course of their story and how much they have all grown as individuals, but also together. While things between them may not be the norm, they are better together and stronger as a unit.
I loved getting the Morelli family in this and plenty of them throughout it. They were not only there for Cater, but June and Theo.
If you’re looking for a dark, romantic suspense, mmf romance this is one to check out.
