Defeat leads you to what you love…

What do friends with benefits and a new job have in common? Usually nothing, unless the guy you ghosted works for your new employer.

Tessa Kramer never thought she’d run into Dylan Murphy after she shut down their occasional hook-ups. But ghosting him proves difficult when she discovers he works for her newest client, Somerville Winery and Vineyard.

Dylan can’t stop thinking about the one who got away. Realizing his carefree ways are a thing of the past, Tessa has been on his mind ever since she cut him off. And he’s determined to convince her he’s worth a second chance.

As their attraction grows outside the bedroom, Dylan turns on the charm to win Tessa back.

And you know what they say about second chances…

welcome to Somerville’s, babe, where everyone knows your name and who you’re fucking.

Matchmaker Jack does it again! I absolutely adored this story. It was sweet, spicy, and had me laughing! Dylan and Tessa quickly became one of my favorite couples at Somerville and I can’t wait to see more glimpses of them!

I loved Tessa. She is a BA business owner. She is strong, she is smart and she is beautiful inside and out. She is also caring and loving. Dylan….I had a love/dislike relationship with him for a bit. He is charming, sweet, swoony, and the dirty talk…YES PLEASE. But there were also times when I wanted to knock some sense into him for how he acted. However, from the start of the story to the end there was so much growth with him. I was smiling ear to ear at the end because of Dylan.

There is so much chemistry between Tessa and Dylan. These two are so perfect for each other and they work well together. I loved seeing a sweet side to Dylan…that first date chefs kiss. He had me swooning. Tessa trying to figure out Dylan’s money secret (which I LOVED and was not expecting! I had some guesses and that was not it, but I loved it and the story behind it).

I loved getting more of Jack and Lauren, Ellen and Will, and Tommy and Penny. I can’t wait to return for Hannah’s story, because I already love her character!

If you’re looking for a friends with benefits to lovers, workplace, reverse age gap romance this is one to read!
