“Hard Fall”

That’s what my mom is always saying: “The bigger you are, the harder you fall.” She’s talking about love—I’ve never been in it myself, but that doesn’t stop me from secretly matchmaking for my friends. Who would suspect me, a world class athlete, of meddling in other people’s love lives? I love Love, especially when it’s not me who’s doing the falling…

“No Thanks.”

That’s what Hollis Westbrooke said when I asked her on a date. Well, propositioned her, actually—but it was all a big joke; one she doesn’t think is funny. My stomach is in knots since I might actually like this girl so the joke is on me. Hollis’s father is my boss—and she doesn’t date players.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall—especially when biggest player is me.

I do not need to crush on America’s Favorite Pastime Playboy.

Hard Fall is EVERYTHING. From the moment Trace “Buzz” Wallace was introduced I was dying for his story and this was everything I could have wanted and so much more.

Buzz is hilarious, kind of dorky, awkward and has a great heart underneath everything. Hollis has some walls up, but she is fully of sass, she is independent, and she is smart. Her and Buzz really balance each other out. I loved their first meeting and things only got better from there.

Buzz and Hollis have amazing chemistry, I LOVED their banter. Of course, there is some hesitation when it comes to the both of them admitting they are dating, but they both keep up the “just friends” for way too long and I did get somewhat frustrated with them.

Hard Fall is a hilariously sweet sports romance that will leave you smiling from start to finish and is a MUST READ!
