REVIEW : Code Name : Heist by Sawyer Bennett

blurb

I am a world-class thief. Or I was, before I got pinched and landed in prison. After I served my time, I decided to get on the right side of the law, or as much as my job at Jameson Force Security allows. The lines sometimes blur, which suits me just fine. My name might be Saint, but I’m a devil to most.

My plan to go legitimate is going as anticipated, until my past and present collide in a big way. While in Paris preparing to take down a ring of highly specialized thieves, I come face-to-face with my biggest threat—and my most dangerous temptation.

Sindaria “Sin” Westin was the love of my life, until her betrayal landed me behind bars. Now I’ve got to find a way to trust her again, at least long enough to pull off this job. When it becomes clear the price for this heist will be our lives, I realize I need to do whatever it takes to keep Sin safe, even if it means trading my life for hers. Because no matter the lies I’ve told myself, Sin’s greatest theft was the day she stole my heart.

She’d later become my lover. Later still, she’d betray me and send me to prison.

my review

Action, suspense, Paris, London and a second chance romance. I completely DEVOURED Code Name: Heist. I was on the edge of my seat when it came to Saint and Sin’s relationship, plus their heists.

Saint is a world class thief, however, after a stint in prison he is legit. Sin, a woman from Saint’s past is still deep into the business, however, she wants out. These two had some CHEMSITRY. Despite what went down years ago between them, that fire never went out. There was a reason for Sin’s decision, however, it was one that cost Saint a lot and put him through a lot.

Working undercover for a thief led to plenty of additional action and suspense throughout the story, but for Saint and Sin and readers it led to some pretty explosive scenes.

There were some events that occurred in Heist that didn’t get resolved involving some of the other members of the Jameson Force Security family and I can’t wait to see where that goes in the future.

Code Name: Heist can be read as a standalone, however, the first two books in the Jameson Force Security series are just as steamy and action packed. A MUST READ!
