ARC REVIEW
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Breaker and Lia’s friendship. These two go together like peas and carrots. There is obvious chemistry between the two of them, however, they have never crossed that line.
I love that Breaker was so willing to help Lia when it came to wedding planning or at least being there for her when the Beave forced her ideas on the wedding. I loved that there were a few times he really stood up for her and her wants. Lia does also stand up for herself and doesn’t let Breaker just handle it all for her and I loved that about her.
The slow burn in this though….there were so many times I was so frustrated with Breaker and Lia. They are perfect for each other and meant to be but neither of them would cross that line and admit their true feelings. However, once the line has been crossed….things get spicy and Breaker…that man brings things to a whole new level. That bathtub scene…yeah, that’s going to live rent free in my mind.
The secondary characters in this…you’ve met them, you know, and probably love them. They were hilarious and I loved when the entire group was together, especially all the women and their knitting club.
