REVIEW : Wicked Games by T.K. Leigh

He’s forbidden in every sense of the word. But is that enough to keep him away?

It all started in Vegas.

Now, I know what you’re thinking…

What happens in Vegas is supposed to stay in the city of sin. Normally, I’d be inclined to agree. Until Lincoln Moore walks into my life.

On paper, we mix as well as oil and water.

He’s confident. Commanding. Successful. Master of his universe.

I’m a hot mess, barely holding on as I struggle to balance my job, finally finishing college, and keeping my mother sober.

But when the lights go out, nothing else matters.

Until I learn the truth of who Lincoln Moore actually is.

Sure, I probably should have put the pieces together sooner, but our time together hasn’t exactly been filled with riveting philosophical discussions about the meaning of life, if you know what I mean.

That still doesn’t diminish the fact he could lose everything by being with me.

But is that enough to keep us apart?
Or is what we have worth the risk?

There’s only one way to find out.

Let the games begin…

MY REVIEW

Chloe was first introduced in Dating Games as one of Evie’s friends. In Night Games (originally part of the Blackout Anthropology) we get a glimpse into a weekend in Vegas with Chloe, which is also the start of Wicked Games and the start of her run ins with Lincoln Moore.

Lincoln Moore (yes you have to say his first and last name, because well they just flow so well). This man is dangerously attractive. He felt an instant connection to Chloe and through in a blackout and well sparks fly.

Chloe and Lincoln are EXPLOSIVE. For them, what happened in Vegas definitely hopped on the plane and followed them back to New York. Their chemistry expanded outside of the bedroom. Lincoln listened, he started to break down Chloe’s walls, he wanted her to see herself as the strong woman he knew she was. This is a forbidden romance; their lives are so intertwined in many ways. Though, you know they are so perfect for one another, you can’t help but root for them to find a way to be together.

My heart broke for Chloe. Her entire story is an emotional rollercoaster but really gives a lot of insight into who she is and how she became that way. Her story hit me in such a personal way. I felt her pain, her hurt, all of her emotions, especially as she poured her heart out. I completely loved Chloe in Dating Games, but this story made me love her even more.

Wicked Games is one crazy wild emotional rollercoaster that I didn’t want to end. I loved everything about Chloe and Lincoln and their intertwined lives. To Chloe’s struggles and to Lincoln breaking down all of Chloe’s walls and showing her that she is enough.

Wicked Games is MUST READ and I can’t wait to see what is in store next for this group of friends.
