REVIEW: The Two Week Arrangement by Kendall Ryan

40058807

Dear Sexy AF Intern,

I know you don’t particularly care that I’m the CEO of this company, and you’re just an intern. I also know you’re not impressed by my power or my wealth, and that’s fine.

You think you’ve got me all figured out from working alongside me for two weeks, but you don’t know me. Not really.

You don’t know that I’m a single dad to twin toddlers, or that those two little girls matter more to me than this entire hotel chain.

I’m not interested in starting something deep and meaningful, but what I am interested in is the way your body reacts to mine when we’re in the same room. You probably assume the concentration on my face is work-related, when in reality, I’m figuring out which I want more–to nail you against the wall, or to bend you over my desk.

While you’re too disciplined to act on it, I’m not. And the night you stepped into my limo, all bets were off.

The sweet name is unexpected, and out of place, but I like it much more than I thought I would. Because it came from Dominic, the always in control, always so disciplined man who’s walls are tumbling down just for me.

MY REVIEW

I LOVE Kendall Ryan’s books and this one sucked me in from the very beginning.

Presley is beginning an intense internship that could lead to a fantastic career if she can prove herself. Dominic is a hard-working CEO, but he is also a single father to two adorable twin girls who are the women in his life.

There is no denying the instant connection between the two, especially when Dom decides that Presley will be his personal intern, of course, he has doubts but Presley continues to impress him with her skills and her smarts. The feeling is mutual to Presley but she isn’t going to risk her entire career by crushing on her boss.

I LOVED this story and the relationship between Presley and Dom. I love how there is so much more to Dom’s character than just a young, attractive CEO. His love for his daughters is adorable and he is truly an amazing father. Presley is a hardworker, she has proven herself and she continues to provide for her younger brother to make sure he can live his dreams.

I thought this was going to be sweet, swoon-worthy, office romance/single dad romance but I was wrong! I went in knowing there was a second book, but didn’t realize the second book was a continuation of this story and with the way this one ended I CANNOT WAIT to see what happens next.
