REVIEW: The Billionaire Boss Next Door by Max Monroe

44423597

My new boss has it all. In spades.

Gorgeous green eyes? Check.
Hard-and-sexy body? Check.
Intelligence? Check.
Success? A big fat billionaire… Check.

Too bad I haven’t started out on the best foot.

My big mouth has already turned him against me, and tempting good looks and success aside, Trent Turner is no peach either. He’s stubborn and thick-headed, and son of a fruitcake, he thinks he knows everything there is to know about the hotel business.

With him running the development of the new Vanderturn New Orleans Hotel and me doing the design, our work relationship is far too intimate for two people who absolutely despise one another.

But that’s not all.

See, he isn’t just my billionaire boss from hell. He’s my new neighbor, too.

Same city.
Same building.
Same floor.

Trent Turner is my billionaire boss next door.

Holy moly, let’s hope my career—and hormones—can survive.

Disclaimer: If you generally love to suffer, hate fun of any kind, and are allergic to laughter, this book is not for you.

Date Trent is just dropping swoon bombs all over the fucking place.

MY REVIEW

Max Monroe have done it again and Trent may be my new favorite billionaire. The man is seriously SWOON WORTHY (Sorry not sorry Thatch). Not only is Trent fantastic, but Greer, I seriously LOVE that girl! This book had me laughing the entire way through. Max Monroe seriously kill it when it comes to hilarious billionaire romances.

Trent and Greer do not like each other, especially after Greer bashes Trent’s fathers hotel right in front of him. Whoops. Greer is the newly hired designer for the new hotel Trent is heading up for his father in New Orleans, these two can’t stand each other but they have to work closely together for MONTHS. Their banter is off the charts along with their chemistry.

Watching their relationship develop from enemies, to friends, to slowly starting to give into their connection and kindle melting chemistry is fantastic and a nice progression. Nothing about this story felt rushed.

Of course, they have an hilarious group of friends who plot against them throughout the story. Greer’s best friend is protective of her and will fight for her girl, but she also wants to see her happy. Trent’s two best friends, Quince and Cap, are also fantastic. Cap may be one of my favorite Max Monroe characters EVER! He was hilarious and I seriously can’t wait for more of him in the future.

Whether you’re new to Max Monroe or you’ve read every single book they have released this is one story that you DO NOT WANT TO MISS! This will have you laughing the entire way through (seriously the warning they provide is legit).
