REVIEW : The Best Man Problem by Mariah Ankenman

BLURB

Lilly Walsh is used to keeping things buttoned-up and aboveboard. After all, the last time she hooked up with someone in a wedding party, it nearly cost her her wedding planning business. Thankfully, those rules don’t apply when she meets a handsome stranger in a hotel bar. One bad pirate joke leads to the best night of her life, but come morning, she’s got a wedding to plan.

Lincoln Reid never imagined he’d see the woman who rocked his world last night and then ran out on him ever again. But there she is, planning his best friend’s wedding with the same passion and drive that brought him to his knees. She’s adamant that wedding planner and best man can never mix, but that just means he’s got four weeks to make her see him as more than just a one-night guy. Because he’s itching for more than one night…or five, or ten…

Is it professional to want to strip him and eat wedding cake off his naked body?

REVIEW

I loved this story. It was funny, sweet and the characters were easy to love and connect with.

Lilly is a wedding planner, she doesn’t do one-night stands, she doesn’t date clients or anyone in the wedding party. She is hard working and great at what she does. Lincoln is new to hear area and the best man to his best friends wedding. A wedding that Lilly just so happens to be planning. A wedding planner he has previously met and knows in an intimate way.

I LOVED Lilly, Moe and Pru’s friendship. These girls are the best of friends and coworkers. They are a group of women that I would love to be friends with. I equally loved Lincoln’s friendship with Marie and Kenneth. Lilly and Lincoln together is AMAZING. These two had such an amazing connection. I couldn’t get enough of them.

The Best Man Problem is a super fun, sweet, hilarious romance novel that will warm your heart. I can’t wait to see what is next up for the Mile High Happiness crew.
