REVIEW – Sins of a Rebel by Brooke O’Brien

BLURB

USA Today Bestselling author Brooke O’Brien brings all the sexual tension and forbidden vibes this brother’s best friend, rock star romance.

Kyla Cole is my best friend’s sister, which makes her completely off limits.

She’s sassy, sweet, and has a body made for sin.

All these years I’ve kept her at a distance. I’m not blind. I notice the way she looks at me, her lingering stares from across the room. If her brother had any idea about the things I’ve dreamed of doing with her, I’d never make it out alive.

I’ve heard it countless times. No one like her could ever possibly love me.

I warned her to stay away from me, but she’s never been one to listen. The more I’m around her, the harder it is for me to remember all the reasons why.

We’re playing a dangerous game going down this road.

I’ve never been one to play by the rules.

Author’s Note: Sins of a Rebel is an optional prequel novella to Tysin and does end with a cliffhanger. You do not have read it first, but it does help the storyline.

While the rest of the A Rebels Havoc series can be read as standalones, if you prefer to read in order, start with Brix as the stories do interconnect.

I’ll never be the man Kyla deserves, but deep down, I want to be.

ARC REVIEW

I absolutely love Kyla and Tysin’s story. It is spicy, angsty, and bringing the forbidden vibes from the start.

The two of them have a ton of chemistry and a connection. They have known each other forever. Kyla’s brother is best friends and bandmates with Tysin and she is completely off limits.

This is a quick read and really provides some insight and background into Kyla and Tysin’s history. I can’t wait to continue their story in Tysin and see what is in store for these two.

If you’re looking for a brothers best friend, forbidden prequel novella this is one to check out.
