REVIEW: Reborn by Meredith Wild

He’s death for hire…

Some people measure life in hours. Days. Weeks. I measure mine in kills. A covert military mission gone wrong robbed me of my memory and any link to my past. This is my existence now. I execute and survive. Nothing more, nothing less. I was ready to write Isabel Foster’s name in my ledger of unfortunate souls until she uttered the one word that could stop the bullet meant for her. My name.

She knows my face. She knows me. She’s the key to the memories I’m not sure I want back. Now nothing is simple. I still have a job to do, and my soul isn’t worth saving. I’m not the man she thinks I am. I can’t love her. And sparing her life puts us both in the crosshairs.

She shows me the broken person I buried when I went to Rio and the savage I replaced him with. She touches scars I learned to ignore. She’s ready to absolve me of all my crimes if it means I can change.

MY REVIEW

PART 1:

I was hooked from the beginning! I could not stop reading, but I find that is the case with any Meredith Wild book that I read.

There are so many layers to Tristan and Isabel. They are such fascinating characters and there is still so much mystery surrounding them and their history together.

I love how Isabel could never forget Tristan and even though Tristan doesn’t remember much from his past he still feels a connection with Isabel.

This book is sexy, it is suspenseful, it is addicting, it is everything you could want in a book! This is just part 1 and I can’t wait to continue on this wild ride with Tristan and Isabel!

PART 2:

Isabel is back home in Washington, DC. She is stilling trying to wrap her head around what happened in Rio and she is also missing Tristan. Meanwhile, Tristan is still trying to make sense of everything and trying to piece together the puzzle of his past.

If the first part sucked, you into this crazy and dangerous world this one definitely will. Answers are provided, but more questions also come up with this installment. It is really the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Tristan and Isabel.

I love that despite not being able to really remember his past with Isabel, Tristan is extremely protective of her and is drawn to her. There is so much more to this man that what he shows on the outside. Their attraction and chemistry continues to spike despite all the drama surrounding them.

Part 2 continues to lay the groundwork to what is going to be an AMAZING series.

PART 3:

Taking lives is her limit. Risking hers is mine.

Isabel is in New Orleans with a new identity trying to escape those who are out to get her. Tristan is on a mission to find out where she is and to be with her, to continue to protect her.

Tristan does find Isabel and the hatch a plan with everyone at Halo to help put an end to this. They know who ordered the hit on Isabel, they know exactly what needs to be done in order to stop this, but nothing is easy.

I am absolutely in love with this series. You have no idea what is going to happen next, where the story is going to go. Yes, you find out who ordered the hit, but things just aren’t going to stop. Tristan got help from Jay and now his to go back to being a hit man, how is that going to play a role in his relationship with Isabel, can he continue to keep her safe, can he do this without taking the lives of anyone else?

I can’t wait to see where this story will go and all the twists and turns we experience along the way!
