REVIEW : Pretty Little Thing by Chelsea McDonald & Molly Storm

BLURB

Meet Angel Dixon. She may be Memphis’ youngest private investigator but she has her own secrets, and she’s out for blood. Along her journey she’s been collecting the clues for her own mystery but she’s missing something. When Angel runs into Cohen Mason she starts to get the feeling that he may have been what she’s searching for.

Meet Cohen Mason. He’s the leader of the South Street Sapphires, a bike gang that calls Memphis its home. He’s violent and abrasive – not really a people person. But from the first moment he meets Angel he can’t stop himself from testing her boundaries. It amuses him but when Angel starts sniffing around his business, the tensions start to rise and he pushes her away.

Twelve years ago, Angel’s family was ripped from her suddenly. She knows who it was, now she wants to know why. And Cohen might just hold the key, except all he wants is to keep Angel as far away from the Sapphires as possible.

A misogynistic, arrogant prick. I’m sure that’s what it was, just him being his usual flirty self.

REVIEW

Chelsea McDonald and Molly Storm are both new to me authors and from the moment I started reading this book I was completely hooked on the story and I can’t read to more from in the future. Pretty Little Things is different from some of the previous MC books I have read, but it was still fantastic.

Angel is a PI who is sassy and fierce. She went through a lot at such young age, but that fueled her for the future. Cohen is tough, protective, and is a strong leader of the MC group, but there is also a really sweet side to him. The chemistry between Angel and Cohen was explosive from the start. Though, they both have some issues when it comes to trust.

There were so many twists and turns that will suck you further into the story and the lives of the characters. I can’t wait for more books with this crew and to get some more glimpses of Cohen and Angel.

Pretty Little Thing is a MUST READ book for me!
