REVIEW : One Blissful Night by A.M. Hargrove

blurb

“Promise you won’t break my heart, Brax.”
He promised. I believed.
Brax Kent was a liar.
He shattered every possible piece of me.
Several years passed before I got through an entire day without shedding a tear.
My existence was hollow, empty, bleak.
Hate was the only thing that pushed me through the day.
Seven years later, who turns up to be my next door neighbor?
The man I despise with every ounce of my being.
And now he wants me back.
With flowery words and sworn oaths full of apologies, he begs.
Can this man who ruined me be trusted?
Only his obstinance, persistence, and beautiful face weaken my resolve.
And I stupidly expose my heart as he wedges himself inside, bit by bit.
Surrendering completely may mean absolute love, or absolute destruction.
The choice is mine.
Cross the line in the sand, or stay in my safe zone.
“Promise you won’t break my heart, Brax.”
He promised. I believed.
Brax Kent was a liar.

Reynolds West was the perfect girl in every way. I fell in love with her when I was twelve.

my review

Reynolds is the last single West sister and her story has been my favorite one. It was worth the wait. One Blissful Night is a hot, hilarious, second chance enemies to lovers romance that you will not be able to put down.

I love Reynolds. She has experienced pain and heartbreak at a young age, she lost herself but over the years she has started to find out who she real is and recover from that pain in her younger years. Enter in her new neighbor, Braxton Kent. Brax is recovering from an accident, enjoying his time on Sullivan’s until he has a run in with Reynolds. The one who got away. The girl whose heart he completely shattered.

I LOVE Reynolds and Brax. Despite the years apart and the heartbreak these two still have so much chemistry. Their banter is great throughout the story. I was dying over their pranks. There was hilarious and brought plenty of laughs to the story.

I couldn’t put this story down. I was sucked into the Reynolds and Brax’s history from the very start. Plus the little sneak peak at the end has me dying for what seems to be the start of a new series.

One Blissful Night is the final book in the West Sisters series, but can be read as a complete standalone. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND reading the entire series, because each books is amazing and MUST READ.
