REVIEW : Mr. September by Nicole Goodin

Brody Owens.
Ex-basketball superstar.
Newly appointed coach.
… And knight in shining armour.

Morgan Bradley.
Gorgeous single mum.
Lonely woman.
… And saved by Mr. Tall, Dark and Handsome.

When fate crosses Brody and Morgan’s paths, he’s desperate to know more about the stunning blonde who he rescued from danger.
After she reappears in the last place he expected, complete with a truck load of baggage, Brody has to decide if he’s up for the challenge of being with her.

Brody wants to keep Morgan safe.
Morgan wants to protect the walls she’s built.

Will Brody break her heart, just like the man before him? Or will Morgan find herself threatened by something other than love?

All I can think about is the knight in grey jeans who swooped in and came to my rescue.

MY REVIEW

This may be my favorite month yet! Sports star hero and a single mom. How can you say no? Mr. September is so much more than that though. There is drama, suspense, steaminess and swoon worthy moments.

Brody spots Morgan across the bar and when he notices something suspicious, he jumps right in and becomes her knight in grey jeans. There is an instant attraction and instant chemistry between these two. Brody also turns out to be the head coach of her teenage sons basketball team.

I loved that Morgan was a super awesome single mom and that her son was a teenager. I love Brody, I mean how can you not?! He is super sweet, hot and not afraid to go alpha to protect Morgan. Morgan’s son, Ethan, provided a few laughs throughout the story. Much needed when it came to all the suspense in this one.

These Calendar boys are amazing and each month they just get better and better, but I think Brody is going to be a tough one to beat.
