REVIEW : Call Her Mine by Melissa Foster

Ben Dalton has always been honest, except where his heart is concerned. He’s been in love with his best friend—saucy, smart-mouthed Aurelia Stark—forever. But Ben’s a planner, and timing has never been on his side. When he finally decides to make his move, Aurelia beats him to the punch with a move of her own—to a different town.

Aurelia loves her new life in the charming town of Harmony Pointe. She has a great apartment and her very own bookstore, and best of all, the sinfully hot, commitment-phobic friend she’s crushed on for years is no longer just around the corner. Maybe she’ll finally be able to leave her unrequited love behind and move on.

But when a baby is left on Ben’s front porch—a baby that is presumably his—Aurelia is there for him. Neither one knows the first thing about babies, but how hard can it be? Ben and Aurelia are catapulted into a world of love, laughter, and tracking down the baby mama, and it might even add up to a very happily ever after… just not one either of them expects.

Once upon a time there were two best friends, a sassy, sexy girl who loved Converse sneakers and was careful with every penny, and an insanely handsome, rich man who adored her.

MY REVIEW

Ben Dalton is an ultra swoon-worthy father. When sweet baby B is left on his door step and he gets over the initial fear of a baby, he becomes super dad and instantly falls in love with the sweet baby. Not only his is falling for Baby B, but also his best friend, Aurelia. At least he is finally admitting to her that he wants her and wants a relationship.

I LOVED every single moment of this book. From the very first word to the final word I was completely hooked on this story.

Ben and Aurelia’s friendship is truly beautiful. I love that these two would do anything for each other and how much they will do for each other. Their first interactions with Baby B had me laughing at times. They were so clueless at times, it led to some priceless and sweet moments. I LOVE the entire Dalton family and I can’t wait for more of these characters and this town in future books. They are hilarious and their love for each other is great.

This story was unexpected in so many ways for me.  It was sweet, romantic, swoony, but it was also emotional in some parts. I wasn’t expecting this to be so emotional but it was perfect for the story.

Whether you’ve read Melissa Foster or not this is one friends to lovers romance that you will want to check out!
