REVIEW ➼ Desolation by AJ Alexander

BLURB ➼

des·o·la·tion
/ˌdesəˈlāSH(ə)n/

noun
1. a state of complete emptiness or destruction.
2.anguished misery or loneliness.

Before La Famiglia gave me purpose, desolation ruled my existence. Pain was my constant companion until I met Francesca Giordano – the Boss’s daughter.

My mission is to protect her, at any cost.

With a price on her head, I will tear down heaven and hell to protect what’s mine.

There is no escape from La Famiglia, especially when you are born into it.

ARC REVIEW ➼

I can’t get enough of Francesca and Marcus! These two are HOT HOT HOT! Desolation is full of suspense and heat. The story will suck you in from page one.

Frankie is being threatened, but that comes with the territory when your father is the head of the Mafia. Marcus is her fathers right hand man. He has known Frankie since they were children. She is also the woman he loves, but he can’t have her. Her father would never allow it. Will Frankie and Marcus be able to admit their true feelings for each other or will they both live in pain over the one they can’t have?

I LOVE Frankie. She is strong, she can easily defend herself. I love the fact that she wasn’t written as some meek like Mafia Princess who can’t do anything for herself. She is a fighter. She isn’t afraid to stand up to anyone and that includes her father. Marcus is swoony. He has his alpha/protective side, especially when it comes to Frankie but there is also another layer to him in that he is caring, sweet, and loving. The two of them together have insane amounts of chemistry that will have your kindle melting.

Desolation is a MUST READ book that will have you on the edge of your seat!
