REVIEW ➞ The Rebound by Kendall Ryan

BLURB ➞

A smokin’ hot new standalone romance from New York Times bestseller, Kendall Ryan.

Price St. James, hockey’s favorite bad boy needs to clean up his image—or face suspension.

What could be more wholesome than helping his new neighbor Kinley? She’s beautiful, funny and newly single. (Score!)

There’s just one problem. She’s also the team captain’s sister.

There are rules about this kind of thing.

But rules were made to be broken…

Contents include: A dreamy AF hero, a bad boy trying to be good, a good girl who likes him naughty, oh, and a bun in the oven

So what if her crazy brother beats me bloody when he finds out we’re still seeing each other? For this woman, it might just be worth it.

ARC REVIEW ➞

Saint is one wrong move away from being suspended from his hockey team. He needs to lay low and stay out of the tabloids for a bit. Then he meets Kinley. She is new to the area, lives in his building and pregnant.

Throughout the series, Saint has been the player, the bad boy, the one who you never expected to settle down. I loved in this book getting to see a different side to him. He has actually caring, protective and super sweet.

The chemistry between Saint and Kinley is off the charts from the moment they meet. Even when constantly friend zoned by Kinley, Saint didn’t give up. He continued to be there for her and was someone she could lean on. At least, someone beside her brother.

This story was low angst, low drama and well just a cute story.

If you’re looking for a single parent, reformed bad boy, hockey romance this is one to check out.
