REVIEW ➞ The Fling by M. Robinson

BLURB ➞

From Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling Author M. Robinson comes a new stand-alone romantic comedy.

What happens when you make a pact with your boys to stay single and never fall in love?

Well, you get the Playboy Pact.

I was the playmaker. The one with the best moves, the best lines. I was the best at everything…
And I mean, everything.
There was no woman immune to my charm. To my looks. To my bed-hopping ways.

It was supposed to be easy. A quick, fun, mind-blowing night where she screamed out my name in ecstasy.

No feelings.
No past.
No strings attached.

I broke the rules.
I broke the pact.

I fell for her smile.
Her laugh.
Our instant connection.
Except, I never expected to fall in love.

Especially with a single mom…

Of twins.

“You like to be the hero, but you don’t want the happily ever after?”

“That’s for fairy tales, and you’re not a little girl I’m going to lie to. I’ll never lie to you, Sage.”

The Fling is one of those stories that will have you swooning to dying of laughter in a matter of seconds and I loved every single moment of this story.

Ashton and Sage first met at 16 and there was a connection instantly. The mere minutes they spent together left a lasting impression on the both of them. Now….eight years later when they run into each other again that connection is still there.

I absolutely love Sage! She is a single mother to twins, who are both adorable, charming, insanely smart and also little troublemakers, she is hard working and has a great support system around her. Her love for her kids is amazing. She works hard for them and makes sure they are happy and feel loved. Ashton took his pact to heart and he doesn’t ever date, that is until Sage. He is also successful in his life and enjoys it to the fullest. I loved the chemistry between Ashton and Sage from the start. Ashton is caring, swoony and the exact opposite of how I thought he would be.

This story had me laughing, swoony and I didn’t expect to cry but it made me tear up a little bit. I absolutely loved every single moment of this story. From Sage’s rather unfortunate ER visits, pranks, St. Thomas and everything in between this story was amazing.

If you’re looking for a single mom, rom com this is one to check out!
