REVIEW ➞ The Bookworm’s Guide to Dating by Emma Hart

What I wanted for my birthday: Books.
What I got for my birthday: my brother’s best friend playing matchmaker.

Let it be known that I, Kinsley Lane, am one hundred percent against being set up with somebody.
And I’m one thousand percent sure that Josh Carter is not the man to find me a boyfriend.
I mean, if I’m so great, why isn’t he the one dating me? (For the record, I don’t know the answer. That’s just what the guy on the internet asked.)
Still, I’ll humor him. If I go on his little dates, he’ll teach my bookish, introverted self how not to be totally, completely, utterly, unforgivably awkward on every single one of them.
And all I have to do is fall in love with one of the lovely gentlemen he’s serving up for me on a silver platter—all of whom fit my very specific guidelines.
Simple, right?
It would be.
If only I could stop falling for Josh.

Book-wooing: the art of applying fictional romantic notions to real life to woo someone.

The Bookworm’s Guide to Dating is the first book in an all new series from Emma Hart that revolves around three friends who run a bookstore together.

Kinsley has a birthday coming up and naturally any bookworm would want books. She also realizes that she should maybe start working on her dating game. She brings up her idea of online dating while out to dinner with her friends and brother. Her brother’s best friend, Josh, volunteers to help her out when it comes to her online dating game…..of course, things don’t work out how either of them planned.

Josh is super swoony! He is sweet, caring, a great friend and supportive. He has also been crushing on Kinsley for a long time, but never did another about his since he is best friends with her older brother. Kinsley is hilarious and kind of clueless when it comes to dating. I loved her and all her quirkiness. Josh and Kinsley had amazing chemistry and there was so many hilarious scenes between them, thanks to their amazing banter.

The Bookworm’s Guide to Dating is fully of banter, chemistry, an amazing group of friends, the best retirement crew EVER and some ducks. If you’re looking for a brother’s best friend romance that will have you laughing and swooning this one is a MUST READ!!!
