REVIEW ➞ Take Me in Bali by K.D. Elizabeth

BLURB ➞

She’s a solo backpacker. I’m the heir to a shipping company.
The moment we meet, it’s instant dislike.

After distancing myself from my inheritance, I’ve become a world-renowned scuba diver.
No matter the conditions, I’ll get in the water.

When I’m hired to search for a shipwreck near Bali worth millions, I think it’s going to be a simple trip.
Then she’s hired as the steward.

Gorgeous. Blonde. Won’t listen to a word I say.
Instead she goes over my head to the yacht’s owner.
A man who may just be a criminal.

When an accident happens aboard, we’re forced to work together.
A fiery attraction soon erupts.
One we try to deny both in and out of the water.

But this isn’t a simple search for lost treasure.
I have a personal reason for finding the wreck.
One that may pit me against the man who hired me to find it.

And the closer we get to discovering the wreck, the sooner I’ll have to choose.
Find the wreck that’s my personal obsession.
Foil whatever plot this criminal is planning.
Or pursue the passion growing between me and the woman I can’t resist?

He’s the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen. But I don’t think I could hate him more.

ARC REVIEW ➞

Exotic location? Yes. Treasure Hunting? Yes. Steamy? Yes. Take Me in Bali checks so many boxes! This story was addictive and the moment I started reading I was hooked and couldn’t put it down.

Pippa is a free spirit. For the past decade she has been travelling the globe, working jobs on boats to make some money to continue with her adventures. When she lands a job on a yacht that is heading out for dives looking for a sunken treasure, she doesn’t know the adventure that is about to embark on. Schiller has a personal interest in the sunken treasure, which is why he agrees to go on the trip.

The moment Pippa and Schiller meet there is immediate dislike, but there was also a spark of attraction between them. The more time they spend together in close quarters the more that attraction grows and the chemistry between them really starts to come to the surface.  I couldn’t get enough of their chemistry and when they finally give in sparks really start to fly between them.

I loved the suspense/mystery element of this story. I loved seeing the story unfold and see how the mystery plays out.

If you’re looking for an enemies to lovers, romantic suspense story this is one to check out!
