As a rising star in Hollywood and half of LA’s “It” couple, my days are filled with filming, partying, and being with my newest co-star.

The life, right?

After our not-so-mutual breakup, being on location in New York together is a recipe for disaster.

I need divert her advances before this project goes south, so I impulsively announce that I’m dating the new makeup artist.

Good idea, Ian.

???.

The fiery redhead is smart with a quick wit and sinful black combat boots.

Madison is also my ex-girlfriend—and she despises me.

To make matters worse, the second the media catches wind of us high school sweethearts reuniting, we’re all anyone can talk about.

During one of my numerous attempts to earn Madison’s forgiveness for this public fiasco, we get stuck together.

Which is when I realize she doesn’t hate me, after all.

In fact, our chemistry is as intense as ever, and it’s not long before the headlines of our fateful reconnection become true.

But when the credits roll, and I head back to my home on the opposite coast, will it be the end of us too?

“You were one of the very few people in my life who saw I was more than jokes and pranks. Our connection went beyond just bonding over the fact that we were both transplants, me from California and you from New York. We were real.”

ARC REVIEW

I adored this story from the start. I loved the back and forth banter between Ian and Madi so much, plus the chemistry between them…I was just waiting for everything to come to head and the fireworks to go off with these two.

Madi and Ian were high school sweethearts, until after their graduation everything changed. It has been ten years and neither of them have seen or spoken to each other. Now Ian is a big movie star and Madi is the make up artist for his new film. Despite everything that went down between them as teenagers, you can feel the chemistry between them, which leads to so much tension.

There is a lot that the two of them need to work through and they start their reunion off almost as enemies, but Ian uses Madi as his fake girlfriend…pretty easy to do when you already have a history together. Madi isn’t a fan of this idea because well, the woman isn’t a fan of Ian these days.

There is plenty of spice, plenty of laughs and a little bit of drama to keep you on the edge of your seat.

If you’re looking for a fake relationship, second chance, rom com this is one to check out!
