Cooper
My name came with big skates to fill.
At the top of my game, I had everything I wanted, or so I thought.
Being traded to Dallas was not what I was expecting but neither were the divorce papers I was served.
Now I’m a single dad in a city that isn’t my home.

Erika
Handed my biggest client when I was twenty-two made my dreams come true.
Over time, our work relationship changed, and we grew closer, leaning on each other for support.
He was my rock, my best friend.
Then one drunken night changed everything, and I saw what was in front of me all along.
I just hope that when the dust settles, we won’t regret it.

“For as long as I can remember, you’ve always been at my side. Good times. Bad times. Every single time, the only thing I can remember is you being there.”

ARC REVIEW ➞

The second I started this book I fell completely in love with it.

Cooper is a hockey player, he is a single father to the most adorable little girls, Emma and Mia. His best friend, Erika, is also his agent and honestly helps him with everything. I LOVED their friendship, but you could also feel the underlying chemistry and connection between the two of them.

I loved Erika. She was hardworking, organized, caring and honestly an amazing friend and help especially when it comes to Cooper. She will do anything for his best friend. She also had an amazing connection with his two girls, which is super sweet.

This story went from best friends to full steam ahead in an instant I couldn’t get enough of it. There is heat, swoony moments, sweet moments, amazing family moments and plenty of laughs. I loved how effortless everything was when it came to Cooper and Erika from the start and that is what made this story so enjoyable.

If you’re looking for a single dad, friends to lovers, hockey romance this is one to check out!
