They say your first love leaves a mark.

For Calliope James it didn’t only leave a mark, it tore out her heart and left it bleeding on the ground.

He was her best friend.
Her first kiss.
Her everything.

Until one day, he wasn’t.

Zachary Messiah will never forget the girl with eyes the color of whiskey. But he’s not that boy anymore.

Cold.
Cruel.
He’s devoid of emotion.

Their paths were never supposed to cross again. But love doesn’t always play by the rules.

Now he’s the King of Steinbeck University and she’s the new girl on campus … and the pasts they have fought so hard to bury are about to collide.

Only this time, they might not survive the fallout.

ARC REVIEW ➞

Zach and Calli put my emotions through the ringer this entire book! I devoured their story.

Zach and Calli are the perfect example of having a fine line between love and hate and they teeter back and forth on that line throughout a lot of this story. They were best friends, they were everything to each other until they weren’t. Now they are attending the same school and happen to see each other a lot. There is still so much chemistry between them and there is still love between them, however, the pain of the past is a lot. I loved their chemistry and I loved the back and forth between the two of them. You could feel the pain and the emotional from both of these characters.

On the Rebound has angst, drama, second chances, misunderstandings, and loads of emotions. A MUST READ!
