If I can keep Hush Note’s leading guitarist, Nixon Winters, on the straight and narrow for the next six months, I’ll finally get my own band to manage—assuming we don’t kill each other first.

The egotistical, irritating rock star is fresh out of rehab, but it’s obvious his demons followed him home—and now I’m sleeping down the hall. I’ve watched him self-destruct every summer, and with album deadlines and tour dates looming, I can’t let it happen again. My career is in his hands.

But tattoos can’t cover every scar, and I’m starting to see through his trademark, irresistible charm to the damage beneath.

Everyone wants the rock star.
I’m falling for the man.

If he doesn’t let me in,
he’ll never break the cycle—
And when these six months are up,
I might be the one left broken.

He was pretty much a walking, talking advertisement for sex and bad decisions.

Muses and Melodies is the third and final book in the Hush Notes series and my most anticipated book of the series. If you’ve read any of the previous books there have been little glimpses of Nixon’s struggles and that things escalate during the summer months. Nixon’s story is beautiful and so much more emotional than I could have expected.

Nixon has a problem and he knows that. He knows that he should get help and he finally gets the help he needs. However, he is a loose cannon and their manager has someone always with him, enter Zoe Shannon. Zoe isn’t a stranger to Nixon’s antics, but she will do what she can to help him and keep him sober. They need an escape so Nixon drags Zoe to her hometown in Colorado to spend time there so he can continue to recover and not be tempted.

I love Zoe. She is smart, talent and is great at her job. She comes from such a loving family and I love seeing her interact with them. She is a saint for dealing with Nixon when their first start working together. She knows that there is something more to him, something that he doesn’t share. Nixon, he is so broken and you just want to hug him. There was so much more to his story than what I expected. He has a cold exterior, but deep down there is a caring side to him.

The chemistry between Zoe and Nixon is beautiful. They are both drawn to each other instantly, however, neither one of the them takes the step to move things beyond a working relationship for a while. Seeing things grow between them and the feelings they have for each other is amazing. Their relationship isn’t easy and is full of ups and downs. It will take you on an emotional ride.

Muses and Melodies is a MUST READ and an amazing Rockstar Romance that will captivate you from the very first page.
