REVIEW ➞ Devious Little Liars by Elle Thorpe

BLURB ➞

“Everybody lies, Princess. Some of us are just better at not getting caught.”

He murdered my uncle then covered it with fire. A fire that should have killed me, too. Instead, he hauled me from the floor while flames licked the walls, strong arms holding me close.

He saved my life.

Now I want to know why. I never saw his face. All I know is the letters on his shirt. SVH.

Saint View High.

The worst school in a hundred miles. Full of drugs and despair. Breeding ground for future criminals. Armed security guards and weapon checks at every door.

A far cry from my privileged life of money, private school, and fancy vacations.

With the police doing nothing, I take matters into my own hands. I enroll in a school I have no business being at.

But the Untouchables are quick to let me know exactly how big a mistake I’ve made. They’re the group of boys even the teachers are scared of.

Colt. Banjo. Rafe.

Every teenage girl’s dream. Good looking. Popular. Powerful.

And determined to break me.

Thing is, I’m not that easily broken. And I’m coming for them, too.

Saint View High had all the charm of a prison block.

Devious Little Liars will take you a wild ride from the very first page. I didn’t want this story to end and when it did, boy, be reading for a cliffhanger.

Lacey recently transferred to Saint View High after her school burned down and the death of her uncle. She is determined to find the truth about what happened, all she knows is there was someone else in the school the night of the fire with a Saint View High shirt. This is where she meets the Untouchables, the boys in school who can do no wrong. Banjo, Rafe and Colt are thick as thieves. Colt wants to get Lacey out of their school. Banjo and Rafe have both formed a connection with Lacey and there is no denying the chemistry. Will Colt get his wish? Will Banjo and Rafe continue to go against his wishes and continue their relationship?

Holy chemistry! Seriously, be prepared for some kindle melting scenes between Lacey and Rafe, Lacey and Banjo and Lacey, Banjo and Rafe. This book brings the heat! There is no denying the chemistry these three have together. There is something sweet about how the guys are with Lacey, that they want to help her after learning what happened with her uncle.

Lacey’s friendship with Jagger is probably one of my favorite things. She is friends with the Untouchables. She instantly took Lacey under her wings and they quickly formed a great friendship, despite being from different ends of town. I can’t wait to see how their friendship progresses throughout this series.

Devious Little Liars is full of steam, mysterious and romance. This is a MUST READ and I’m DYING to know what is going to happen next.
