REVIEW ➞ Destination: Edinburgh by AJ Alexander

BLURB

After a devastating loss, I traded business suits for my passport and a backpack. Traveling the world and living life to its fullest, before coming back to Edinburgh.

Refusing to let anyone get too close for fear of being unable to survive another broken heart.

When an alluring young girl requested a tour of Edinburgh, the sadness in her voice calls to me, reminding me of the man I once was. Instead of giving her the tour she wanted, I decide to show her life is meant to be enjoyed, not put on the back burner.

I planned to teach Ava there was more to life than rules and schedules, but instead, she ends up teaching me that there’s one thing I can’t live without – her.

Call it fate, love at first sight, or a healthy dose of good karma. Whatever it is, Ava will be mine. I’m sure of it.

ARC REVIEW

Ava and Callen meet on a plane about to land in Edinburgh. Callen is from there and Ava is there for school. The moment they meet on the plane there is a connection between them and Callen isn’t about to let her go.

There is instant chemistry between Callan and Ava. I loved the passion that these two had. They also have both lost people they have loved in their lives and I felt like that gave them a deeper bond with each other. Plus, the lengths Callan is willing to go for a grand gesture was sweet.

I love this series and Ava and her group of friends. I can’t wait to see what is in store for Maya!

If you’re looking for an insta love, age gap this is one to read.
