First love. Countless mistakes. One final chance.

Kimmie:
I loved Mickey long before I knew how much it could hurt. We thought we belonged together. Fated even. But fate wouldn’t put us through this. Even it wasn’t that cruel. We loved, and then we lost. Lost everything, including ourselves, and now I’m forced to confront our biggest downfall of all.
I have to, for both our babies.

Mickey:
Kimmie was my salvation for so long. So long until she became my greatest regret. We were explosive to a fault, and one day, one damning day, it blew us all back to hell.
And now she’s in the arms of another man.

They shouldn’t want each other back. They shouldn’t dream about what could have been. Then again fate rarely hands out second chances. Chances to right the wrongs. Chances to fuse their aching, broken, and wayward hearts back together.

In my world that was filled with happiness, great friends, and a loving family, Mickey was my weakness.

Burn For Me is bittersweet. It is the final book of the North Shore Crew series and from the beginning I have been in love with this entire crew. Each person is different and has overcome their own personal battles to find the happiness they truly deserve. From the beginning, there has always been something between Mickey and Kimmie but we never knew the true story. Until now. Their story was everything I could have wanted and more. It was tragic, emotional, beautiful and truly perfect.

Kimmie and Mickey have been friends their entire lives. They have always had an on and off again relationship, though recently everything has been purely physical. There is still so much love and chemistry between them. There is also pain, heartbreak and some unresolved emotions from their past. They haven’t had an easy road, sometimes they haven’t even had each other to lean on for support along the way.

Mickey and Kimmie’s story is one I felt deep down in my bones. Their story touched me. It made me cry. It made me laugh. It made me want throw my kindle and knock some sense into Mickey at times. It made me frustrated with Kimmie at times. I felt so much while reading this story, but I loved every single moment of it.

Burn For Me is a MUST READ, along with the rest of the books in the North Shore Crew series.
