Davina is on the run from the mafia. She flees her home city of New York and heads south to Miami. The events that occurred haunt her, she is fearful for her life. Ilias is a cop and assigned to watch over Davina and the more time he spends with her and gets to know her, he just wants to protect her and to make her feel safe. However, there is a part of his life she doesn’t know…
I loved Davina. Though she was scared and timid at the start she comes out of her shell and starts to grow stronger thanks to Ilias and his dog, Boris. I loved Ilias so much. He is protective, caring and an alpha male. Their relationship formed quickly but they had a lot of chemistry.
This story was full of twists and turns from the start and I loved every moment of this ride. The steam, the suspense, the brotherhood between Ilias, Lucca, Arlo and Viktor.
I can’t wait to return back to this world with Lucca’s story!
